LOVE CATCHER is the fifth mini album by South Korean singer YENA (Choi Ye-na), released on March 11, 2026 through Yue Hua Entertainment with distribution by Genie Music and Stone Music Entertainment. The project marks YENA’s return approximately eight months after her previous extended play Blooming Wings (2025), continuing her development as a solo pop artist following her earlier career as a member of the project girl group IZ*ONE.
The mini album contains five tracks and presents a thematic exploration of romantic emotions that arrive unexpectedly, often compared to a gentle spring breeze. Through a mixture of upbeat pop sounds and softer melodic moments, the album portrays different stages of attraction, curiosity, and emotional uncertainty in relationships.
LOVE CATCHER blends bright electro-pop energy with melodic pop and light ballad influences. The title track Catch Catch is driven by an electro-pop sound characterized by playful rhythms and an addictive melody, reflecting the push-and-pull tension of a romantic chase. The album expands stylistically through collaborations that bring in elements of hip-hop, indie pop, and acoustic pop.
The project highlights YENA’s distinctive vocal tone and expressive delivery while introducing a variety of featured artists. Tracks such as Because It’s Spring incorporate conversational and humorous vocal segments, while songs like Sticker and Question Mark emphasize emotional storytelling and melodic interplay between collaborators.
Thematically, the album follows moments of love as they unfold—ranging from playful curiosity to reflective questioning. Each song captures a different emotional perspective, presenting relationships as a series of unpredictable but meaningful encounters.
The album was recorded during 2025 and released globally on digital streaming platforms and physical formats including CD and PocaAlbum editions. The physical release includes multiple versions, including photobook editions titled Cupid and Catch.
The production features contributions from several songwriters and producers from the Korean pop industry. Producers and composers involved in the project include Nathan, Roar, members of the production collective Full8loom, and collaborators associated with the 644ultramarine team. The songwriting credits across the album also include lyricists such as Seo Jeongah and Hanroro, who contributed to the writing of the track April Cat.
